Aviation Disaster Simulation Training by KCD

Kempegowda International Airport 

Avaiation Disaster is a very Comp-lex  Situation and needs very intrecate planing and  a combination of  forces and agencies come into play to minimize damages,

A full fledges simulation  drill was carried out recently to check and  understand   the readiness of various  organizations as well as to get a deeper insight to each individual involved  about  various aspects of such an incident.

I have been involved in three Such drills already as part of the Civil Defense team ,   once at the Tragffic control, once at the Crowd management  and this time it was  at the incident spot  in triage ,


Disaster Management is a very wide subject and one needs to be totally committed to understand and be a part of the same .

TOT on Good Quality CPR

Karnataka Civil defense had organized a Day long Training programmes for the Trainers ,  TOT in  CPR, BLS , STEMI ,
this was done in association with various organization  from USA , experts from University of Illinois offerred training to the experts from Various organizations   ,

 with many years of experience in CPR every learning is new and we get to learn something very new . this was one such  opportunity given by the Civil Defence.

Route March Is conducted with an intention to Demonstrate and communicate our Prescence, and also establish a  good relationship with the residents,

Division 17 of the Karnataka Civil defence organized the route March That went  through the narrow Bylanes as well as the  various residential Localities of R T nagar.

Fire Safety and Golden Hour Awareness Among Students

Division 17 Of the Karnataka Civil Defence conducted a very energy packed session on Thye  topics of Fire safety and Golden Hour.

While Mr Sunand Sampath conducted  both the sessions
Mr A T Krishnamurthy gave a brief History of the civil defense, and Mr T Vidhyadhar  Soke about the importance  of Inculcating volunteerism and commitment.
Mr Raqueeb spoke about  his active  experiences in fighting fire
Mr Akash was present and supported the event .

we had a strong and  focused 150 studentsa and the staff of the school

With this awareness program, My ( Sunand Sampath) number of children reached has raised to 1160 for the topic on Golden Hour .

Golden hour awareness initiative

We are organising awareness programms on the importance of the golden hour at various places and forums.
Sunand Sampath has already conducted awareness programme for more then 100 professionals this includes our own wardens,  and a group of Kendriya Vidyalaya schools principals and senior Teachers.
The ain is to reach out to am many more people as possible.
